Louis-Marie Ilema Marcelot

Louis-Marie Ilema Marcelot, age 76, a longtime resident of Lowell, passed away peacefully at Lowell General Hospital on Thursday, May 21, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Marie-Rose (Jean Denis) Marcelot.

He was born in Les Cayes, Haiti on May 1, 1950, and was the son of the late Leon Marcelot and Elirene Eliscar.

In addition to his loving wife, Louis-Marie is survived by his children MarcDonald Marcelot, Anne Murlyne Marcelot, and Rose Nadège Jean; and his daughter-in-law Mame Marcelot. He also leaves behind many beloved relatives and friends, including the Marcello, Blaise, Jean-Denis, Planto, and Bazile families.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026 from 4pm to 7pm at the BLAKE CHELMSFORD FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen Street, CHELMSFORD. His Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 10am at the funeral home. Interment will be held privately.
