Irene H Zabierek Obituary (1926 - 2021)

Irene H. (Noga) Zabierek, 95, a longtime resident of Chelmsford died Friday, August 20th at DYouville Senior Care in Lowell. She was the beloved wife of the late Waclaw Vic Zabierek with whom she shared 63 years of marriage until his passing in 2013. She was born in Lowell on January 17, 1926 and was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Malik) Noga. Irene was a graduate of Lowell High School, class of 1943. Prior to her retirement, she was employed for over 25 years by Raytheon. Irene was a longtime communicant of St. Casimir Church in Lowell. Irene is survived by her son, Frank V. Zabierek and his wife Maureen of Milford, NH; her daughter, Sarah Spicer of Lowell, MA; four grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Irene was predeceased by her siblings; Stanley Noga of Daytona Beach, FL and Jane Noga of Pelham, NH and her granddaughter, Victoria Zabierek of Milford, NH. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude and thanks to all the staff at DYouville Senior Care for the loving care and compassion shown to Irene throughout her time with them. Due to health and travel restrictions at the time of her passing, funeral services were delayed. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2022 on the one year anniversary of her passing at 10am at St. Casimirs Parish, 268 Lakeview Ave., Lowell. Interment will follow at St. Casimirs Cemetery, Pulpit Rock Rd., Pelham, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Irenes name to St. Casimir Church, 268 Lakeview Ave., Lowell, MA 01850.
