Jared M. Woods Obituary (1986 - 2024)

Jared M. Woods, 38, a resident of Lowell, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at Tufts Medical Center, Boston, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Lowell on April 28, 1986, and was the son of the late Wendy Woods. Jared cherished moments spent playing war and goldfish with his nannie and whipping up his famous grilled cheese sandwiches. He enjoyed watching movies, exploring YouTube, and playing video games. Jared idolized Jason David Frank, the green Power Ranger and had a special fondness for Spider-Man, especially the one played by Andrew Garfield. He dreamed of purchasing a van and living off-grid. Jared enjoyed performing impressions and making people laugh. His ultimate dream was to create a movie, a dream he pursued alongside his good friend Brandon. Jared leaves his grandmother, Sandra (Pyrcz) Woods of Lowell, his aunt Heather Makara and her husband Edward of Chelmsford, his uncle Chad Woods and his wife Kerry of Dracut, his cousins, Alyssa and her husband Anthony, Megan, Brianna, Alexis, Emily, and his new baby cousin Gio (squishy). Jared also leaves behind his extended family and friends. In addition to his loving mother, Jared was predeceased by his maternal grandfather George C. Woods, and his great-grandmother Dorothy Pyrcz. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024, from 11 am 1 pm at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford. His graveside service will be held on Friday following the visitation at Holy Trinity Cemetery, 155 Boston Road, Lowell.
