John Barrett Obituary (1963 - 2016)

Barrett, John Joseph of Chelmsford MA, June 5, age 53. Beloved husband of Karen (DeGrace) Barrett. John is survived, and will be deeply missed, by his daughter, Nicole of Chelmsford and sister Patricia of Andover. He was the beloved son of the late Joseph F. and Constance (Lynch) Barrett of Andover. John was a graduate of Andover High School, Clark University, and Boston University. He was a longtime valued employee of Aspect Software. John was an avid sports fan and enjoyed cheering on all of the New England teams and any basketball game he could find. John was a devoted husband and father and a wonderful human being and dear friend. His spirit and strength will live on in all who knew him. Calling hours will be held in the Blake Funeral Home, 24 Worthen Street, Chelmsford, on Thursday from 4 to 8 PM. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Mary's Church, 25 North Road, Chelmsford on Friday at 11 oclock. Interment will follow in Heart Pond Cemetery, Chelmsford. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend. Donations may be made in Johns name to a UTMA college fund for his cherished daughter Nicole Barrett.
