Kathleen Louise Cormier Obituary (1944 - 2014)

WESTFORD Kathleen Louise Cormier, RN, age 69, a resident of Westford died Monday, April 28, 2014 at Lowell General Hospital. She was born in Florence, SC on July 16, 1944, and was a daughter of Ellen A. (Callahan) Cormier of Westford and the late Henry C. Cormier. She received her education in Westford schools and was a graduate of Westford Academy, Class of 1962. She was also a graduate of St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing in Lowell. Prior to her retirement, Kathleen was employed as a registered nurse for several area hospitals including, Lowell General Hospital, St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, NH, and Boston City Hospital. In addition to her mother, she is survived by two brothers, Ronald J. Sallese and his wife Patricia of Lexington and Charles H. Cormier and his companion Gigi of Westford; her sister, Christine E. Corr and her husband Bill of Westford; her three godchildren who are her nieces and nephew, Kimberly Corr, Kerry Keins and her husband Scott, and Billy Corr and his wife Milena; and two grandnephews and one grandniece. It being her wish, there will be no visitation and her service was private.
