Hudson, NH – Kimberly A. (Christensen) Proulx, age 51, a longtime resident of Hudson, NH, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, October 3, 2025, surrounded by her loving family after a lengthy battle with cancer.
She was born in Stoughton, MA on March 25, 1974, and was the daughter of Mark H. Christensen of Plymouth, MA and the late Diane M. (Capodilupo) Christensen.
Kimberly was raised in Hanson, MA. She was a member of the graduating class of 1992 at Whitman-Hanson Regional High School. After graduating, Kim worked as a conductor for AMTRAK for 15 years traveling from Boston to New York. After, Kim became a stay-at-home mother of her four children. Kim was happiest being home with her children hosting endless sleepovers, baking desserts, and having pool parties. Kim was a fierce advocate for her son Michael who was diagnosed with Autism at a young age. Her dedication to Michael’s development at school and at home opened several doors for not only Michael but for Kim to work in the industry. Second to her children was her love of attending Boston Bruins hockey games with family and friends in unquestionably the greatest of accommodations.
In addition to her father, Kimberly leaves her children, Michael P. Proulx, Brooklyn V. Proulx, Corina Proulx and Danielle Miller, her brother Mark Christensen and his wife Laura of Hanson, MA, her niece Grace Christensen, her nephew Ryan Christensen also of Hanson, MA, her step mother Linda Christensen of Plymouth, her aunt Karen Anderson of Plymouth, MA, her aunt Paula Fallon and her husband Kerry of Dedham, MA, her uncle Harold Christensen of Cape Cod, the father of her children, Daniel Proulx, Jr., and many other relatives and friends who she touched by her warmth and kindness.
