Linda N. Massa

The world lost a beautiful and wonderful person last week, Linda (Dumas) Massa Sandstrom, 67, of Chelmsford who passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 after a year long courageous battle against pancreatic cancer. She was the beloved wife of Donald Sandstrom with whom she shared 25 years of marriage.

Linda was born in Billerica, MA on April 30, 1953 to the late Frederick and Lillian (Bent) Dumas.

She was raised in Billerica where she was a graduate of Billerica High School. She worked for many years at DAmicos Restaurant in Chelmsford, Cogans Bakery and the UPS Store in Concord, and St. Josephs Cemetery, Chelmsford. Linda was a talented crafter who enjoyed decorating for the various holiday and special occasions. She enjoyed her vacations in Maine, NH, and St. Augustine, FL, along with various trips to the mountains and the ocean. She was an avid dog lover, the last being Chloe Lou of 16 years. Most of all Linda cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Linda leaves her children Nicole Athanas and her husband Chris of Merrimack, NH, Guy Massa of Chelmsford, Michael Massa and his longtime partner Jessica of Hudson, NH, and Phillip Massa and his wife Jenna of Hudson, NH, her former husband Guy Massa, her grandchildren Isabella and Sophia Athanas, Mila and Aiden Massa, and Brody Massa. her siblings; Donald Dumas, Diane Coelin and her husband John, Gary Dumas and his wife Diane, Carolyn Dumas, and Jeff Dumas and his wife Phyllis. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
