Lorraine M. 'Laurie' Donnelly

Lorraine M. "Laurie" Donnelly, 68, a resident of Chelmsford, passed away peacefully at Lowell General Hospital on Thursday May 31, 2018 following a courageous battle with lung cancer.

She was the wife of Frederick W. Donnelly, who fulfilled his vows faithfully and to the fullest.

Born in Lowell on July 28, 1949, she was a daughter born to the late Felix J. and Cecile R. (Turcotte) Letourneau.

Laurie was raised in Lowell and attended both the former St. Joseph Elementary school and St. Louis Academy. She went on to a career in machine operation and worked for both Mark Packaging in Haverhill and PCA in Chelmsford.

Laurie enjoyed line dancing, party planning, traveling and attending concerts with her friends.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph and Lu Camacho of Dracut, John and Annemarie Camacho of Tewksbury; three granddaughters, Kienia, Johnna and Rusha Camacho; a sister Claudette Letourneau of Lowell; her dear friend who was like a sister, Yvonne Lussier; her Godchildren, Kienia Camacho, Nicole Richard, Laura Lee Johnson, Kathleen Haas, Steve Makris, the late Faye Wasserman and the late Joan (Juliano) Letourneau. She was the sister of the late Emile Letourneau.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday June 5, 2018 from 4 until 7 PM in the BLAKE CHELMSFORD FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen Street, CHELMSFORD. Interment will be held privately.
