Mabiala Marcel Mukandila Obituary (1962 - 2023)

Mabiala Marcel Mukandila, age 61, a resident of Lowell, passed away at Lowell General Hospital on Monday, May 8, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Ntumba (Mukandila) Godelive. He was born in Kinshasa, Congo on February 28, 1962 and was the son of the late Mabiala Ngimbi and Makiwi Matshiozi. Mabiala was passionate about the Church and started preaching when he was 10 years old at a church in Congo. He would travel to various churches to help people preach. A gospel book writer, Mabiala was a great teacher of the gospel. One of his greatest accomplishments was being a music instructor. He was the Choir Master in Congo all his life. A talented musician, he loved playing the keyboard and guitar. Mabialas favorite movie was Titanic and his favorite TV shows were Mr. Bean and Mind Your Language - he always appreciated comedy. Above all else, Mabiala cherished his family and loved spending time with his children. His children remember going to the park every day with him. In addition to his loving wife, Mabiala is survived by his children, Caleb, Joshua, Timothy, Lois, Favor, and Ephraim; and his 5 sisters and 4 brothers. He also leaves his best friend, Pastor Moses and a dear close family friend, Auntie Matilda. He will be deeply missed by the Church, his spiritual children, and family and friends in Congo. Since growing up, he always left them with the word of God. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, May 26th from 6pm to 9pm at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford. His Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 9am at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Chelmsford. Psalm 91:1-16 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. Surely he will save you from the fowlers snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. If you say, The LORD is my refuge, and you make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent. Because he loves me, says the LORD, I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.
