Margaret M. Conlin Obituary (1928 - 2016)

Margaret M. (Vaughan) Conlin, 87, a longtime Chelmsford resident, passed away peacefully with her loving family at her side on Saturday October 22, 2016. She was the wife of the late Francis J. Conlin. Born in Lowell, MA on Nov. 15, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Richard P. and Margaret (Savard) Vaughan. She was also the sister of the late Richard J. Vaughan and his wife Evelyn. Margaret attended Sacred Heart Grammar School and was a graduate of Keith Hall in Lowell. For many years she was employed in sales by W.T. Grants and Kmart Department Store. Margaret was a parishioner of the former Sacred Heart Parish in Lowell. Spending time with her family meant so much to her, especially those special Maine vacations. She also enjoyed knitting, sewing and baking-especially her famous "sugar cookies." Survivors include her son, Francis M. Conlin and his wife, Donna of Chelmsford, a daughter in law, Denise Conlin of Chelmsford; her grandchildren, Patrick Conlin, Kerry Conlin, Brendan and Amy Conlin, Ryan and Alana Conlin, Courtney Conlin and her fiance Dan Siracusa; her great grandchildren, Tynan, Jacob, Bryce, Landen, Bethanie, Amelia, Polly Mae and Nora; and her dear friend, Phyllis Scoble. She was the loving mother of the late Richard F. Conlin. Margaret was also an aunt to many nieces and nephews. The Conlin family would like to extend our sincere thanks to Town and Country Nursing Home along with New England Hospice for their outstanding care. Visitation will be held on Tuesday October 25, 2016 from 4 until 8 PM in the BLAKE FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen Street, CHELMSFORD. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday morning at 11 AM in the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Pine Ridge Cemetery.
