Marie J. Webb Obituary (1931 - 2024) - North Chelmsford, Massachusetts

Marie Josephine (Potzman) Webb, 92, of Chelmsford, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 13, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Edward Webb with whom she shared 67 years of marriage until his passing in 2021. She was born in St. Louis, MO on November 20, 1931, and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes (Pardo) Potzman. Marie leaves her six children, Theresa J. Harris and her husband, William Harris, Marie C. Webb and her partner, Tom Santos, Robert J. Webb and his wife, Joanne Webb, Cynthia A. Morse and her husband, Andy Morse, Paula M. Heroux and her husband, Dennis Heroux and Jennifer E. Richardson and her husband, Mark Richardson. She is also survived by five grandchildren and five great grandchildren and is predeceased by a grandson, Joseph E. Webb who passed away in 2016. Marie lived life to the fullest, had a great sense of humor and loved music, dancing with her husband and spending time with her children and grandchildren. When her children grew up she became a day care provider in her own home because she truly loved children. She was raised by Polish immigrants and was very proud of her heritage, occasionally reciting Polish sayings and making a Polish dish for her family. After raising their children, Marie and Bob spent winters in Florida and traveled the country visiting friends and family, celebrating their 50th anniversary in Hawaii, their life-long dream. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, May 17, from 4pm to 7pm at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 11am at St. Mary Parish, 25 North Rd., Chelmsford. KINDLY GATHER AT THE CHURCH. Interment to follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Chelmsford.
