Normand Rene Gauthier Obituary (1957 - 2020)

Normand Rene Gauthier, 63, a lifelong resident of Lowell, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, April 10, 2020. He was the son of the late Rene and Simonne (Breault) Gauthier. He was born in Lowell on July 26, 1957. Normand attended Lowell High School and was a graduate of the Class of 1974. He worked for the United States Postal service as a letter carrier in Chelmsford for many years. Normand was past President of the Franco American Club in Lowell. He had a gift and passion for song, as an amatuer singer Normand would perform in various shows including the Irish festivals in Lowell. Normand was a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Dracut, where he was a longtime member of the choir. Normand is survived by his brother-in-law, Maurice Mason, Jr. Esq., of Lowell and his good friend Lauren Bucci. He is also survived by numerous cousins and many nieces and nephews. Normand was predeceased by his sister Louise Mason. Funeral services and Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery will be held privately.
