Patricia Joan Rienstra

Patricia J. (Boughton) Rienstra, age 87, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2019. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard H. "Dick" Rienstra with whom she shared 60 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2014.

She was born in Mount Vernon, NY on February 6, 1932, and was a daughter of the late Wallace and Elsie (Hofmann) Boughton. She received her associate degree from Green Mountain Junior College in Vermont.

Patricia and Dick were active members of the West Chelmsford United Methodist Church.

She enjoyed time spent with her family and friends.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard "Rick" and Leeanne Rienstra of Douglas; her daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and George Higgins of Nashua and three grandchildren, Jeffrey Higgins and his wife Candace of Londonderry, NH, Bradley Rienstra, and Kevin Rienstra, both of Douglas. She was the sister of the late Robert Boughton.

Visitation will be held at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen Street, Chelmsford on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 from 4 - 7pm.

Her Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 11 o'clock at West Chelmsford United Methodist Church, 242 Main St., N. Chelmsford, MA 01863.

PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Patricia's name to the West Chelmsford United Methodist Church, 242 Main Street, North Chelmsford, MA 01863.
