Patricia E. Wilkins Obituary (2013)

CHELMSFORD- Patricia E. (Nelson) Wilkins, 83, a longtime resident of Chelmsford, died Thursday, February 7th at Town and Country Nursing Home in Lowell. She was the beloved wife of the late Hollis A. Wilkins who died in 1989. Patricia was born on June 9, 1929 in Lowell a daughter of the late Albert W. and Anna (Winters) Nelson. She received her education in Lowell schools. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a teachers aide at the Byam School in Chelmsford. She was a member of the Central Congregational Church in Chelmsford. Mrs. Wilkins was an avid reader and enjoyed fishing trips with her husband. She is survived by a daughter, Donna OConnor and her husband Richard of Sweden, ME; and a son, Neil Wilkins of Chelmsford. She was the loving grandmother of Christine Ellison and her husband Richard, Jr. of Middleton; and a step-granddaughter, Suzanne R. Below of Derry, NH. Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 4 until 7 pm at the BLAKE FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen St., CHELMSFORD. Her Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 12 oclock at the funeral home. Burial in Fairview Cemetery in Westford.
