Paula Marie Woods

CHELMSFORD Paula Marie (Kelley) Woods, 63, a longtime resident of Chelmsford, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2013 after a long illness.

She was born in Medford on November 8, 1949 and was a daughter of the late Frederick J. and Elise M. (Thomann) Kelley.

Paula was raised in Malden and was a graduate of Malden Catholic High School Class of 1967. She was employed for many years as an Administrative Assistant for several technology companies, including M/A-COM in Lowell, Corning/Lasertron in Bedford and more recently at St. Mary Parish in Chelmsford. Paula was an avid reader and Patriots fan who also enjoyed traveling, the beach, and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved to cook, bake and entertain family and friends in her home.

Paula was a loving mother to Brian S. Woods of Seattle, WA and Kellie A. Sullivan and her husband Christopher of N. Chelmsford, and devoted Nana to Christopher James Sullivan, Jr. and Jack Ryan Sullivan. She also leaves her longtime companion Robert Lally of Chelmsford, former spouse Attorney Richard C. Woods, Jr. of Reading, brothers Mark Kelley of Londonderry, NH, and Scott Kelley and his wife Bernice of Malden, and brother-in-law Robert McLean of Melrose, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Barbara McLean.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 5 to 8 pm at the BLAKE FUNERAL HOME 24 Worthen St., CHELMSFORD. Memorial Services will be private.
