Pearley Joseph Roger Angers Obituary (1922 - 2016)

Pearley Joseph Roger Angers, 94, a resident of Worcester and a former Chelmsford resident, passed away on Friday December 2, 2016 at UMASS Medical Center in Worcester. He is the husband of Marjorie (Riley) Angers of WA and the late husband of Anita H. (Cadran) Angers. Born in Lowell, MA on May 3, 1922, he was the son of Wilfred and Angeline (Tremblay) Angers. Pearley served in the United States Air Force for more than 20 years. He was employed as a letter carrier by the United States Postal Service. In addition to his wife, survivors include three children, Diane Burton of Abington, MA, Paul Angers of Tukwila, WA, Carol Labonte and her fianc, Phil Tomaszewski of Gardner, MA; a step-son, Patrick McCormack of Everett, WA; six grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Claire Desmond. Visitation will be held on Wednesday December 7, 2016 from 9:30-10:30 AM in the BLAKE FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen Street, CHELMSFORD. His Funeral Mass will follow at 11 AM in St. Mary Parish, 25 North Road, Chelmsford. Interment with military honors will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford.
