Phyllis E. McLoon Obituary (1929 - 2013)

North Billerica Phyllis E. McLoon, 84, passed away on April 29, 2013 at Merrimack Valley Life Care Center in North Billerica, MA. Born in Lowell, MA on March 4, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Norman D. McLoon, Sr. and Doris (Wilson) McLoon. She attended Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School, Class of 1946. Phyllis was also a graduate of Colby-Sawyer College and Katherine Gibbs. She was a personal secretary to Stephen Mugar of Star Markets in Boston prior to moving to Cheshire, CT. She worked at International Silver Company for many years where she wrote several papers on the use of silver. Phyllis moved to Chelmsford in 2010 to be closer to family. She is survived by her brothers Kenneth A. McLoon, Sr. and Norman D. McLoon, Jr. and his wife Bertha all of Chelmsford and a brother-in-law Wayne Edmands of Indianapolis as well as several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Meredith McLoon Edmands. At her request, there will be no calling hours and her funeral will be private with interment in Lowell Cemetery.
