Regeanne Rita Tucker Obituary (1936 - 2023)

Regeanne R. Jean (Boilard) Tucker, 87, a longtime Chelmsford resident, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Lowell General Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late William Frank Tucker with whom she shared 55 years of marriage until his passing in 2010. She was born in Lincoln, NH on August 28, 1936, and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Diana (Laflamme) Boilard. At the tender age of eighteen, Jean met her soulmate and future husband, Bill Tucker. Jean and Bill married shortly after and moved to Billerica, MA where they began their lives together. Jean and Bill had nine children. While being a full-time mom, Jean was also a hairdresser, an accomplished cook and baker, a gifted quilter, and was very active in her local church. Later in life, Jean worked as a special education teachers assistant at The Lighthouse School in Chelmsford. Jean also worked at Joann Fabrics as she was a talented seamstress. Upon retirement, Jean took up painting and was also active with The Chelmsford Garden Club. Jean was selfless and lived to help others. She will forever be remembered as a loving wife, a devoted and caring mother, and a beloved grammy and GiGi. Jeans legacy will live on in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to have known her. Her family is blessed to have had her as the matriarch of our large, loving family. Jean leaves her cherished children, John Tucker and his wife Lianne of Encino, CA, Theresa Rose and her husband Tim of Cleveland, OH, Diane Ehritz and her husband Mike of Torrance, CA, Margaret Martin and her husband Matt of Windham, NY, Barbara MacGillivray and her husband Allan of Chelmsford, Valerie Enis and her husband Tom of Dracut, Richard Tucker of Chelmsford, and Stacia Tucker and her wife Ingrid Parena of Stoneham; her nineteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren; and her sister Diane Boilard of Salinas, CA. Sadly, in addition to her husband, Jean is predeceased by her son David Tucker and her granddaughter, Danielle Rose. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at 11 am at St. Mary Parish, 25 North Rd, Chelmsford. A Celebration of Life will follow. Interment will be held privately.
