Rita M. DiCarlo Obituary (1926 - 2014)

CHELMSFORD Rita M. (Labagnara) DiCarlo, 88, of Chelmsford, and formerly of Delray Beach, FL and Medford, MA, passed away quietly on Thursday, May 1, 2014 with her daughter Cynthia at her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank A. DiCarlo to whom she had been married for 62 years prior to his death in 2007. She was born in Medford, MA on February 16, 1926 and was a daughter of the late John and Anna (Colosi) Labagnara. Rita was a talented china painter. She loved to cook and especially enjoyed watching everyone savor her cuisine. She and her husband were a presence wherever they went and were always together. She was a good friend to all. She is survived by three daughters; Cynthia Fiekers and her husband Frank of Chelmsford, Beverly DiCarlo of California, and Cheryl DeAntonio and her husband Rob of Virginia, two grandsons; Brian DeAntonio and his wife Rachel and Stephen DeAntonio, five great-grandchildren; Stephen, Zachary, Emily, Jack, and Lily, a brother; Lawrence Labagnara of Hudson, and a niece Elaine Ciruso and her husband Peter. It being her wish, funeral services were private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of ones choice.
