Robert W. 'Bob' Evans, Jr. Obituary (1957

CHELMSFORD- Robert W. Evans, Jr., age 53, husband of Patricia M. Evans, died Friday, April 23rd, 2010, at home after a long fight with cancer. He was born in Medford, February 9th, 1957, the son of the late Robert W. Evans, Sr. and Rosemary (Hennigan) Evans, and lived in Chelmsford for most of his life. He was educated in Chelmsford schools and was a graduate of Nashoba Valley Technical High School. Bob worked as a purchasing agent for Digital Equipment & Delta Education and most recently had his own business. He was a lover of fishing, golf, baseball and the game of hockey. Bob coached all levels of baseball and youth hockey in both Chelmsford and Billerica. And, most of all, he loved spending time with his family & friends. Bob is survived by his daughter, Ashley, son Robert III and son Tyler; brother Stephen & his wife Alicia and their 3 children, Brooke, Alex and Cody of Nashua, NH; brother & sister-in-law, Mark & Joanne Campbell of Cape Coral, FL, nephew Ryan of Cape Coral, FL, nieces Cortney and Brittany of Nashua, NH. Bob was the brother of the late Donna Campbell (August 15th, 1993) and the late Scott Evans (January 18th, 1984) Visiting hours will be held on Monday evening from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the BLAKE FUNERAL HOME 24 Worthen St., CHELMSFORD. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 9 o'clock at St. Mary Church, 25 North Rd. Interment in Pine Ridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Robert's memory may be made to the Lowell General Hospital Cancer Center, 295 Varnum Ave., Lowell, MA 01854.
