WESTFORD -- Robert J. Bob Fragala, 75, of Westford, died unexpectedly on November 15, 2017 at his second home in Desert Hot Springs, CA. He was the beloved husband of Ann (Bleeck) Fragala, with whom he celebrated 52 years of marriage in July.

He eventually got into marketing in the water management and irrigation industries, working at Watts Regulator, RainBird, and Hunter. In 1988, he founded Stateline Irrigation Supply with his wife and two partners and built it into the 9 branch/30 employee organization that it is today. His son got into the business and they worked side-by-side until the day he died, doing the job he loved and considered his favorite hobby.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Joni Lavoie and her husband Nate of Chelmsford, MA and his son Rob Fragala and his wife Christen of Chelmsford, MA. He is also survived by four grandchildren: Kira and Adam Lavoie and Andrew and Ella Fragala, as well as his siblings: Joe Fragala, Rose Arraj, Tony Fragala, and John Fragala and his wife Rita.
