Rose Edith Rosenquist Obituary (1928 - 2011)

DRACUT- Rose Edith (Abels) Rosenquist, 83, a resident of Dracut, died on Saturday, December 31st. She was the beloved wife of Robert Rosenquist, to whom she was married for 57 years. She was born on September 6, 1928 in Probolinggo, Indonesia, and was a daughter of the late Charles and Laura (Scheffman) Abels. Rose spent her life tending to the needs of her home and family. In her free time she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, making dresses, shopping, and cooking. In addition to her husband, Rose is survived by her son, Peter Rosenquist of Billerica, three grandchildren, Meredith Ann Kay, Misty Jane Rosenquist and Michelle Rosenquist, all of Lowell, three great grandchildren, Mataya, Nathan, and Madelyn; a brother, Benjamin Abels and four sisters, Sonja Abels, Emmy Vankerckhoven, Onny Blaset and Christina Kerger, all of Holland. Funeral Services will be private.
