Sherrol Ann Motta Obituary (1940 - 2016)

SHERROL ANN MOTTA WIFE, SISTER, AND AUNT Sherrol Ann (MacInnis) Motta, 76, of Lowell, MA passed away on Monday, April 25, 2016 at her home after three and one half years of various illnesses with her husband and family by her side. Sherrol was the wife of her caring and devoted husband, Joseph Motta, who cared for her throughout her illnesses. They were married for 49 years. Born in Lowell, on February 17, 1940 to Estelle and Jeff MacInnis, Sherrol graduated from Lowell High School in 1957 and worked at Avco in Lowell as an administrative assistant in the Apollo Space Division for many years. Besides her husband, Sherrol is survived by three sisters and their husbands, Cindy MacInnis of Tyngsboro, Judy and Mike Sokolowski of Tyngsboro, and Barbara and Bill Koyutis of Florida. Sherrol is also survived by her great nephew, Trevor Kelley, who she cherished and gave her much happiness. Also surviving Sherrol are her two nieces, Tiffany Kelley of Lowell and Kristen Thomas and two great nephews, Chance and Cade Thomas from Florida and her many friends. Sherrol was the sister of the late Jeffey MacInnis. Sherrol will be very sadly missed by her husband Joe, her sisters Cindy and Judy, and niece Tiffany and great nephew Trevor. The Motta family would like to thank everyone for thinking and praying for Sherrol over the past three years.
