Stavroula Frountza Obituary (1920

Stavroula (Skoulikas) Frountza, 88, a resident of Lowell since 1980, and formerly of Platy, Greece, died on Wednesday, December 31, 2008. She was the wife of the late Demetrios Frountza who died in 1979. Stavroula was born on September 15, 1920 in Arfara, Greece a daughter of the late Vasilios and Konstantina (Agellis) Skoulikas. She was the beloved mother of Maria A. Masias of Lowell, and Efstathia Tzavaras and her husband George of Kalamata, Greece. Loving grandmother of Michael Masias, Panagiota Morowski and her husband Mark, Stavroula Masias and her fianc Visuth, Taso Tzavaras and Stavroula Tzavaras. Great grandmother of Anastasia Masias and Jake Morowski. Sister of Nikolaos Skoulikas and his wife Efstathia of Greece, Ekaterini Argeraki and her husband Vasilios of Greece, and Georgia Skoulikas and her husband Elias of Greece. She was pre-deceased by a grandson, Demetrios Masias, a son in-law, Anastasios Masias and a brother, Demetrios Skoulikas. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 3 to 7 pm at the BLAKE FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford. Her Funeral will be held from the funeral home on Monday at 8:30 AM followed by a Funeral Service at 10 o'clock at the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church, Dracut. Interment to follow in Westlawn Cemetery, Lowell.
