Tina Fiorenza Obituary (1944 - 2024) - Summerville, South Carolina

Tina (Coronis) Fiorenza, age 80, a longtime resident of Nashua, NH, until moving to South Carolina 2 years ago, passed away peacefully at her home on September 8, 2024, surrounded by her loving family after a lengthly illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert S. Fiorenza with whom she enjoyed 16 years of marriage until his passing in 1990. She was born in Nashua, NH on August 30, 1944, and was the daughter of the late Emanuel and Simone (Constantis) Coronis. Tina graduated from Nashua High School in 1962 and began working at Great American Corp., in Fitchburg, MA in various administrative roles until the company closed. Tina continued to work for several large corporations throughout the years until deciding in her 50s to return to college to pursue her Bachelors Degree in Social Work. She then worked as a Social Worker for the State of New Hampshire briefly until finding her dream job at Marguerites Place in Nashua where she worked with families in crisis to achieve independence and safe living situations. After her husbands passing, she worked part time at various Walmart locations for over 20 years in NH, MA, and FL. Tina was initially diagnosed with Breast Cancer at the age of 58 and underwent a mastectomy and several months of treatment. The cancer returned and she fought hard these past two years until her passing. As her family and friends know, Tina was one of the strongest women known to us. We will never forget her sense of humor, tenacity, strength and most of all, her love for her family. Tina is survived by her children, Jessica and her husband Michael Chalmers of Lynn, Brandie Fiorenza and her partner, Keith Archambault of Summerville, South Carolina, and Anthony Fiorenza and his partner, Katie Catino of Malden; her three grandchildren, Alaina Chalmers of Lynn, Madeline Chalmers of Swampscott, Emily Baldwin of Chicago, IL, one great-grandchild Xia Phoeuk of Swampscott, and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her daughter, Anna Maria, her son Robert Jr., and her sister Anna Coronis. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, September 13, 2024, from 9 am 10 am at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford. Her funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 10:00 am following the visitation. Interment in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Chelmsford. Memorial donations may be made in Tinas memory to the American Cancer Society.
