Vincent B. Daly Obituary (1943 - 2023)

Vincent B. Daly, age 80, a longtime resident of Chelmsford, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, October 12, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Marsha G. (McCormack) Daly with whom he enjoyed 57 years of marriage. He was born in Lowell on July 5, 1943 and was the son of the late Vincent B. Sr. and Marjorie (Connell) Daly. Vincent was a 1961 graduate of Westford Academy. He worked for nearly 50 years at Murray/Courier ing and later worked part time for the Chelmsford School System. Vincent enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time outdoors. Most of all, he cherished the time he spent with his family. He will be dearly missed. In addition to his loving wife, Vincent is survived by his children, Pamela Donoghue and her husband Brian, Scott Daly and his significant other Laurie Coulbert, and Robert Daly and his significant other Jenna Beauregard; and his grandchildren, Christopher Lynch, Elijah Donoghue, and Cassie Lynch. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Mary Hemenway and her husband, Charles. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, October 16th from 4pm to 7pm at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 9am at St. Mary Parish, 25 North Rd., Chelmsford. KINDLY GATHER AT THE CHURCH. Interment will follow in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Chelmsford.
