Wesley Emmett Moreau-Goodwin

–

Amesbury, Massachusetts

Wesley Emmett Moreau-Goodwin, at age 5 weeks, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at Anna-Jaques Hospital, Newburyport. He was born on September 8, 2026, and was the beloved son of Arianna R. Moreau-Goodwin.

From the moment Wesley was born, he was the brightest light in the world. He loved squeezing his mom’s hand with his little fingers, he loved moving his head around, making random noises that made everyone laugh, sitting in his swing looking at everything around him, and looking up at his loved ones with his beautiful eyes. His favorite thing in the world was snuggling with the people he loved, resting his head on their chests, curling up into a ball, and falling asleep for hours. Wesley was so strong from the second he was born; he could lift his head up on his own and squeeze things so tight. Wesley was taken from this world and from his family far too soon, but he will be remembered forever by everyone who loves him. His perfect little smirk, his beautiful eyes, and his random little noises will never be forgotten. To say he will be missed is an understatement, but Heaven gained the best angel they could ever possibly get, and his bright light will always be in those who love him the most.

In addition to his loving mom, Wesley leaves behind his grandparents Joseph & Laura Goodwin and Brittany Moreau; his stepfather Thomas Dillon; his uncles Joseph Goodwin, Jr., and Nathan Goodwin; his aunt Sofia Moreau; his great grandparents Charlie & Rachel Goodwin, Robert & Susan Downs, Allison Farrow, and Michael Oakes as well as many great aunts & great uncles along with tons of cousins and family friends. He is also leaving behind and will be missed dearly by his furry siblings Bella, Bumbles, Smokey, and River.

Wesley was preceded in death by his great grandmother Debra Moreau, and his great-great uncles Raymond Desrosiers and Gerard Desrosiers.

Memorial donations may be made in Wesley’s name to The TEARS Foundation https://thetearsfoundation.org/.

His funeral services and interment will be held privately by his family.

Rest in the most beautiful peace Wesley, I hope you know how much you are loved. You will always be my perfect boy.
