Wilhelmina 'Billie' Bacon Obituary (1933

DUNSTABLE-Wilhelmina "Billie" (Forbes) Bacon, 77, a longtime resident of Dunstable and former North Chelmsford resident, died Friday, October 22nd at Lowell General Hospital. She was the beloved wife of George W. Bacon, to whom she was married for 58 years. She was born in Cambridge on April 23, 1933, and she was the daughter of the late William and Blanche Forbes. She received her education in Lowell schools. Prior to her retirement, Billie was employed for many years as the cafeteria manager at the Swallow Union School in Dunstable. She also served as dispatcher for 25 years for the Dunstable Fire Department. Her greatest joy was spending time with her loving grandchildren and her dogs Brandi and Bella. In addition to her husband, she is survived by four daughters, Nancy Rich and her husband Charlie of Pepperell, Linda Britko and her husband Dan of Westford, Ann Alves and her husband Dan of Douglas, and Brenda Bacon of Pepperell; four grandchildren, Gregory Rich of Hudson, NH, Dan Alves of Douglas, Stephen Britko of Westford, and Courtney Britko of Westford; a brother, Willie Leeche of Arizona; a sister-in-law Gloria Forbes of Reno, NV; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of late Dunstable Assistant Fire Chief Richard C. Bacon and the sister of the late Russell Forbes and Carmen Bouchard. Her visitation will be held at the BLAKE FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen Street, CHELMSFORD, on Monday from 5 until 8PM. Her Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 11AM at the funeral home.
