Willard F Moore Jr. Obituary (1925 - 2016)

Bonita Springs, FL- Willard F. "Will" Moore, Jr., 91, formerly of Chelmsford, died peacefully Friday evening, July 22, 2016 at Joanne's Hope Hospice House in Florida. He was the beloved husband of the late D. Roberta "Bobbie" (Johnson) Moore. Will was born in Westford on May 22, 1925. He was the son of the late Willard F. Moore, Sr. and Edna (Sergant) Moore. He proudly served his country during WWII in the United States Army until he was honorably discharged in 1946. Will was employed for many years as a truck driver for MacLellan Concrete until his retirement. His favorite hobby was tending to his vegetable garden, where he spent most of his free time. He also enjoyed traveling with his wife, especially wintering in Florida and family trips to their summer camp in Dunstable. Will had a passion for truck driving and enjoyed his daily routine. Will is survived by his three daughters, Laurie Rich and her husband Michael of Chelmsford, Linda Moore of Idaho, and Roberta "Robin" Perreault and her husband Steve of Rhode Island; his two sisters, Ruth Barry and Esther Brosius both of Maine; five grandchildren, Jessica, Jenna, Ben, Melissa, and Ryan; as well as one great-grandson, Henry. His Funeral Service will be held at BLAKE FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen Street, CHELMSFORD on Friday, July 29th at 11:30 AM. Interment and military honors to follow in West Chelmsford Cemetery, Chelmsford.
