Condolence From: Ed Good
Condolence: As a teaching colleague of Walter for 32 years in Lexington, I always enjoyed the fellowship and enjoyment of working with Walter, and his students enjoyed his love of mathematics right along with him. He enjoyed a good joke, and his wallet was the fattest I have ever seen! My memories of Walter are ever lasting.

Condolence From: Russell Goodwin
Condolence: To Walt's family I wiss to express my heartfelt sympathy to you all. I will be unable to make the funeral services, but I will be there in spirit. I taught at LHS for 37 years in the Math Dept. with Walt. I always enjoyed his presence and his wit. We all remember his "thriftiness" and his efforts to make us think this was the real Walter. We all knew the truth was far different. Walt was a caring and loving man. May he rest in peace and may all of you find solace in remembering the good times.
