LOWELL – Michael B. Esposito, 58, a resident of Lowell and former resident of Florida died Friday, April 4, 2014 following a long illness.

He was born in Haverhill on July 29, 1955, and was a son of Eleanor (Thackeray) Nelson of Lowell, MA and Anthony Esposito and his wife Norma of Lowell, AK. He received his education in Billerica schools and was a graduate of Billerica Memorial High School.

Prior to his illness, Michael worked in construction.

He loved music and played lead guitar. When he was younger he was in the band Seth with his friends from Billerica and then in band Stryker Alley with his brothers.

In addition to his parents, Michael is survived by his daughter Nicole Esposito of Lowell; his grandson, Thomas Andrew Esposito of Lowell; his former spouse, Lee Blier of Lowell; his sisters, Patty Bearistow and her husband Steve of CA, Susan Clouter and her husband Greg of Billerica, and Bonnie Monarrez and her husband Caesar of Lowell, Arkansas; his brothers; Anthony Esposito, Jr. of Lowell, Arkansas, Bob Esposito of Lowell, Arkansas, Clayton Rodgerson and his wife Patty Sue of Lowell, Arkansas, Harry Nelson of Chelmsford, and John Nelson and his wife Leanne of Salem, NH, ; and many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Mark Nelson.

It being his wish, there will be no visitation.

A Memorial Service for Michael will be held on Sunday, April 27, 2014 at 2 o'clock at Matthew's Memorial Primitive Methodist Church, 128 Gorham Street, Chelmsford, MA 01824.

Interment will be private.
