Obituary for
Afrodite Tziotziouras (Kouskouras)
LOWELL – Afrodite (Kouskouras) Tziotziouras, age 82, of Lowell passed away Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Blair House of Tewksbury. She was the beloved wife of Andreas Tziotziouras.
She was born in Grevena, Greece on March 25, 1932, and was a daughter of the late Konstantinos and Olga (Voudintsiotis) Kouskouras. She immigrated to the United States in 1969.
A talented seamstress, Afrodite was employed for many years by the former Solomon’s Fabric in Lowell.
In her free time, she enjoyed knitting, cooking, tending to her dahlia’s and roses in her garden, and spending time with her adoring grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Afrodite is survived by her three children, Konstantinos Tziotziouras and his wife Heather (Haroula) of Lowell, Athena Tziotziouras of Lowell, and Yianni Tziotziouras and his wife Carmen of Dracut; six grandchildren, Aphrodite, Andreas, Katrina, Andreas, Christopher, and Thomas; her brother and sister, Yiannis Kouskouras and Vasiliki Katsalis, both of Greece; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Lowell on Monday, November 3rd from 10 until 11 am followed by her Funeral Service at 11 o'clock at the church. Interment in Westlawn II Cemetery in Lowell.
