Obituary for Peter D Scali
CHELMSFORD – Peter D. Scali, Sr., 88, a longtime resident of Chelmsford, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at his home after a long illness. He was the loving husband of the late Rose M. (DeFronzo) Scali who died in 2012.
He was born on June 10, 1927 and was a son of the late Joseph A. Scali, Sr. and Jennie (Mirarchi) Scali.
Peter proudly served in the US Army during WWII. He was retired from the printing industry. In his younger days he enjoyed Candlepin bowling and liked to play Bingo.
Peter is survived by his children; Peter Jr. and Julie Scali of Phoenix, AZ, John and Diane Scali of Salem, NH, Anthony and Susan Scali of Nashua, NH, and Judy Milot and Joseph Scali of Chelmsford. He also leaves seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a brother Joseph Scali and his wife Maryann of Belmont, MA. He was the brother of the late Vincent and Domenic Scali.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 4 to 8 pm at the Blake Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford.
Funeral Service on Tuesday at 12:30 pm at the Funeral Home followed by interment in Pine Ridge Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Circle Home, Inc. 847 Rogers Street, Lowell, MA 01852.
