Prior to his retirement, Dick was employed by Lucent Technologies, the former Western Electric/AT&T, as an engineer.

Dick enjoyed traveling with Georgia and especially their annual family vacations at Lake Winnipesaukee and Siesta Key, FL. Dick loved boating, fishing, skiing and golfing at Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua, where he was a member for over 20 years. He was a former president of the Stony Brook Fish & Game Association in Westford and an active member for more than 40 years. He had a love for music and was an avid reader throughout his life.
