Obituary for Brenda M. Bell (Sheehan)
Brenda M. (Sheehan) Bell, 76, a resident of Chelmsford, passed away on Saturday June 4, 2016 at her home with her family at her side.
Born in Lowell on November 3, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Timothy and Winona (Turvey) Sheehan. She was a graduate of Lowell High School where she was captain of the girl officers.
For 25 years she worked alongside many close friends in the accounting department at Raytheon.
Brenda’s favorite place was her old farmhouse in Chelmsford, this is where she was at peace. She loved visiting with her children, grandchildren, sister and friends. She enjoyed spending quiet time reading books and doing crossword puzzles on her front porch. She loved her yard, gardening and feeding the birds. She made beautiful afghans which she often donated to local charities.
She is survived by her two daughters and son-in-laws, Kathy and John Sartorelli of Chelmsford, Sue and Timothy Enis of Westford; her grandchildren, Tori and Ashley Enis, Dana, Jake and Joseph Sartorelli; her longtime companion Paul Poirier and his family of Wayland; a sister and brother-in-law Maureen and Richard LaRoche of Chelmsford and their children Karen and Gregg.
It being her request, calling hours have been omitted.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Memorial Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Monday June 13, 2016 at 10 o’clock in St. Margaret Parish, 374 Stevens Street, LOWELL, MA 01851.
Interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Brenda’s memory may be made to: St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital at 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
