Obituary for Beverly F Horan (Hartrick)
CHELMSFORD – Beverly F. (Hartrick) Horan, 83, a longtime resident of Chelmsford, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Lowell General Hospital after a period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard J. Horan who died in 2003.
She was born in Newton on May12, 1933 and was a daughter of the late William and Minnie (Westcott) Hartrick.
Prior to her retirement, Beverly was employed as a Clerk/Receptionist at Dupont in Billerica. Beverly was a member of Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua where she loved to golf with her husband. She always loved and had an interest in gorillas. In addition to being an avid horseback rider, Beverly enjoyed raising and showing her wire haired terriers. Beverly was a loving mother and adored her family.
Beverly is survived by three children; Barbara J. Luce and her husband John of Westford, Kathleen S. Lanell of Bradford, and Phillip J. Horan of Hudson, NH, two grandchildren; Eric Horan and Ellen Horan, both of Westford, a sister Barbara Cameron of Osterville, and nieces Lynne and Beverly and her beloved cat, Jack.
At her request, funeral services will be held privately.
Interment will take place in Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to MSPCA Nevins Farm, 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844.
