Obituary for Frank D. Wojtas

Frank D.  Wojtas
BURLINGTON- Frank D. Wojtas, 65, of Chelmsford, died Wednesday evening, August 3, 2016 at Lahey Clinic Medical Center after sustaining injuries in a mountain biking accident. He was surrounded by his loving family.

Frank was born in Lowell on May 30, 1951. He was the son of the late Frank and Stasia (Christynia) Wojtas. He was a graduate of Chelmsford High School.

He proudly served his country during the Vietnam War in the United States Army until he was honorably discharged in 1971.

Frank was employed in many different areas but most enjoyed farming.

In his free time, he was an avid mountain biker and traveled to many places to experience new trails, he especially loved his trips to Utah. Above all, his most cherished time was spent with this family.

Frank is survived by his three children, Enid Orlando and her husband Joe of Lowell, Stacey Wojtas and her husband Jon Moy of Chelmsford, and Frank Wojtas and his wife Beth of Groton; his siblings, Charles Wojtas and his wife Joan of Chelmsford, Peter Wojtas and his wife Alina of Holden, Robert Wojtas of Chelmsford, Patricia Wojtas of Chelmsford, Marie Wojtas of Chelmsford, and Kathy Wojtas of Cambridge. He is also survived by his grandchildren Faith, Nya, Joey, and Jade.

Calling hours will be held on SATURDAY, August 6th at BLAKE FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen Street, CHELMSFORD from 12 until 2 PM. Funeral Service will follow at 2:30 PM in the Funeral Home with Military honors. Burial will be held privately.
