Obituary for Brenda J Williams (Farrell)

Brenda J Williams (Farrell)
LOWELL - Brenda J. (Farrell) Williams, 45, a resident of Lowell, passed away at her home on Tuesday November 1, 2016 in the company of her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Mark Williams with whom she would have celebrated her 18th anniversary on November 22nd.

She was born in Concord on September 11, 1971 and was a daughter of Nicoletta (Buccelli) Farrell and the late Thomas Farrell.

Brenda was raised in Chelmsford and was a 1989 graduate of Chelmsford High School. Prior to her illness, she was employed in the Medical Records Department at Lowell General Hospital Saints Campus. Brenda loved celebrating the holidays, Thanksgiving and Christmas being her favorite times of the year. She loved to dance and enjoyed fishing so much that she carried a fishing pole in the trunk of her car. She enjoyed the little things in life. Brenda was very proud of her Irish and Italian heritage. She was a kind and caring person with an understanding heart, a beautiful smile and a contagious laugh. She will be fondly remembered as the "funny one". Above all, Brenda was devoted to her family. She was extremely proud of her twins and cherished every moment spent with them as well as the time she was able to spend with her nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.

In addition to her loving husband and her mother, Brenda leaves her twins; Branden and Maranda Williams, her sisters Colette Wetherell and her partner Francis O'Keefe of Pepperell, and Kathleen Bell and her husband Aaron of Derry, NH; nephews Matthew and Owen Wetherell and nieces Abigale and Arianna Bell. Brenda's family would like to acknowledge her co-workers from Lowell General Hospital Saints Campus as well as her many friends who have provided such incredible support throughout her illness. You all brought immeasurable comfort to Brenda and her family.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 4 to 8 pm with a service beginning at 7 pm at the Blake Funeral Home 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford.

Interment will be private.
