Obituary for Marilyn A. Locke (Mills)
Marilyn A. (Mills) Locke, 82, wife of the late Norman C. "Cy" Locke, passed away peacefully on Friday December 2, 2016 at D'Youville Senior Care.
Born in Worcester on April 3, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Cecilia A. (McGinn) Mills and Leonard H. Mills.
Marilyn was educated in Worcester Public Schools. In her younger years, she lived in New York City and was employed by TWA Airlines. She later became a cosmetologist and worked in the Bedford, MA area. She loved animals, especially cats and dogs. Marilyn enjoyed reading and spending quiet nights in her home.
Marilyn is survived by many nieces and nephews and was predeceased by her siblings, Leonard H. Mills, Russell F. Mills, Warren G. Mills and Celia Brown.
A big thank you to the nurses from New England Hospice- Jess, Jen and Jackie for their great care. Also sincere thanks to all of the wonderful people at D'Youville Senior Care.
At her request, calling hours have been omitted. Relatives and friends are invited to a Graveside Service to be held on Tuesday December 6, 2016 at 11 AM at Heart Pond Cemetery, on the corner of Garrison and Parkerville Road in South Chelmsford. For those who wish, donations in loving memory of Marilyn can be made to the Animal Shelter of one's choice.
