Sally Cady (Roberts)
Sally (Roberts) Cady, 90, a resident of Acton and former resident of Chelmsford, passed away peacefully on Thursday December 8, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was married to the late Edward A. Cady for over 50 years of wedded bliss.

Born in Westfield on November 5, 1926, she was the daughter of the late George and Ruth (Taylor) Roberts.

Sally attended Pratt Institute in NY with a concentration in Fashion Design. She had a wonderful sense of style with a passion for jewelry. In 1981, she and Edward opened Antiques Orchard in Westford and ran that successfully for more than 15 years. Sally was a faithful and active member at Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Chelmsford where she volunteered in many capacities. She enjoyed gardening and, above all else, spending time around the table with her family. Sally was also a member of Learning in Retirement (LIRA.)

Survivors include three children and their spouses, Stewart Cady and his wife, Leslie P. Cady of Shirley, Claudia Palmer and her husband, Colin H. Palmer, III of White River Junction, VT, and Marcia Dana of Westford, widow of the late Gregory A. Dana. Sally is also survived by her six grandchildren, Rebecca, Emily, Bonnie, Evan, Abby and Megan; and six great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday December 12, 2016 from 4 until 7 PM in the BLAKE FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen Street, CHELMSFORD. Her Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 11 AM in Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 242 Boston Road, Chelmsford. Interment will be held privately.
