Jeffrey M.  Collins
Jeffrey Michael Collins, 25, a life-long Chelmsford resident, passed away on Sunday January 8, 2017. He was the beloved son of Michele M. (Blais) Collins and Frederick B. Clark, Jr. of Chelmsford who survive him.

Born in Fitchburg, MA on December 26, 1991, Jeff was raised in Chelmsford and attended Chelmsford schools. He attended UMASS Lowell, and was most recently employed by Chili's Restaurant.

In addition to his parents, Jeff is surrounded by an amazing network of family and friends including his brother, Justin Collins and Michelle Martin of Somerville; his aunts and uncles, Cathy and Ted McKinley of Nobleboro, Maine, David Blais of Chelmsford, MA, Greg and Carol Blais of New Ipswich, NH; several cousins, Ben, Chris, Lisa, Dan, Nate and Claire Blais; his girlfriend Sarah Steinberg of Newton; his best friend Kyra Baratta of Lowell; and numerous friends. He was the grandson of the late Gerard A. and Elina M. Blais and the late Katherine and Ernest Shepherd. He is also survived by his biological father, John E. Collins.

Jeff was a funny, warm, and kind person who loved to be surrounded by his friends and family. He is a member of the Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity of UMASS Lowell, and loved his brothers as family. He was passionate about growing vegetables, herbs and plants. Snowboarding, soccer, running, hiking, body art, listening to and playing music, and brewing his own beer were among his many interests. He loved spending time at his summer home on Lake Winnipesaukee.

Memorial Visitation will be held in the BLAKE CHELMSFORD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, 24 Worthen Street, CHELMSFORD on Saturday January 14, 2017 from 3 until 6 PM. Calling hours will be concluded with a brief prayer service. Interment will be held privately. For those who wish, donations in loving memory of Jeff may be made to the Humane Society or your favorite animal shelter.
