Efstratios  Leimonitis
NORTH BILLERICA - Efstratios "Steve" Leimonitis, 74, of North Billerica, passed away peacefully at his home on March 1, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Maria (Lazares) Leimonitis.

He was born in Greece on August 21, 1942 and was a son of the late George S. and Panagiota (Kostandarakou) Leimonitis.

Steve served in the Greek Army and as a Police Officer in Greece. After moving to America, he worked for many years at Honeywell in Lawrence.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his son George Leimonitis and his wife Robin and their children Nicole & Steven of Billerica, and his daughter Helen Gaudet and her husband Paul and their children Steven and Zachary of Dracut and his great-granddaughter Araya Marchioni. He also leaves his brother Antonios Leimonitis and his wife Sophie of Lowell and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was the brother of the late Antonia Doulaveris.

Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10 am to 12 pm at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford, followed by a Funeral Service at 12 o'clock at the funeral home.

Interment to follow in Westlawn Cemetery in Lowell.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Steve's memory may be made to the Hellenic American Academy, 41 Broadway St., Lowell, MA 01854.
