Torin Michael Lekan, 32, a Chelmsford resident, passed away on Tuesday March 28, 2017. He was a son of Anthony F. and Wendy L. (Vogler) Lekan of Chelmsford.

Torin was born in Charlottesville, VA on July 20, 1984. He graduated from Chelmsford High School in 2004 and became an apprentice in the Iron Workers Union. He continued to develop his trade and was enjoying his work with Chasse Steel Services. He was a true “Big Blue” Giants fan and also cheered for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Torin was a natural athlete, golf enthusiast, loved the beach, and always put his family first. His laughter and charm captured all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, Torin is survived by his sister, Lija (Lekan) Bennett and her husband Greg Bennett of Winchendon; his brother Devin Lekan of Chelmsford; two nieces Graelynn and Lannan as well his nephew Quinnten. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and family friends who loved him so much.

Visitation will be held on Sunday from 12 until 3 PM at the BLAKE CHELMSFORD FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen Street, CHELMSFORD. Visitation will conclude and all are welcome to attend the prayer service beginning at 3 PM . Interment will be held privately.
