Obituary for Frances T. Grove

Frances T.  Grove
Frances T. (Centauro) Grove, a longtime resident of Chelmsford, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 27th at the Emerson Hospital in Concord. She was seventy nine years old.

Frances was raised in Lexington and was a graduate of Lexington High School. She was a resident of Chelmsford for many years where she raised her two children. She worked as a full charge bookkeeper for many years assisting with the accounting for a number of construction companies. Frances was a talented artist who loved to paint scenes of nature, architecture and still life. She loved the holidays and never missed an opportunity to cook a meal for family and friends. A lover of all animals, her pet cats and dog always brought her happiness. She was a fan of all New England sports and most recently, passionately cheered on the Patriots to Super Bowl victory, Family was at the center of Frances' life. More than anything, she enjoyed time spent with her children and grandchildren.

Frances is lovingly survived by her two children, William Grove and his wife Nancy of Tyngsboro and Teresa Grove and her husband Gary Shea of Chelmsford. She was the loving grandmother of Celeste, John and Cory. She also leaves a brother Robert Centauro and sister, Veronica Kelley.

Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Friday, May 5th from 4:00-7:00pm in the BLAKE CHELMSFORD FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen Street Chelmsford.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday May 6th at 9:00am in St. Mary Church 25 North Road Chelmsford.

Interment will follow in Heart Pond Cemetery, Chelmsford.
