Obituary for Robert Olney Irzyk
Robert Olney Irzyk, 57, passed away on Monday, July 24, 2017 at his parents' home. He was a resident of Alaska for 37 years and graduated from Bartlett High School in Anchorage in 1978. The past three years he has resided with his parents.
Born on January 31, 1960, he was the son of Robert J. and Catherine O. Irzyk who reside in Dunstable, MA.
In addition to his loving parents, Rob is survived by his sister Sue Irzyk of Costa Mesa, CA, uncle Stephen C. Olney and his wife Po S. Olney of Chelmsford MA, and cousins; Diane Cadogan and her family, Courtney, Patrick, and Thomas Cadogan of Westford MA, and Janet Olney and her spouse Susan Miltenberger of Baltimore, MD.
Rob loved Alaska and loved life to the fullest. His hobby was fixing and driving 18 wheelers and snowmobiling. He was the Owner and Operator of Ice Age Trucking, a company he created. Just look up and know he is snowmobiling the great white clouds of heaven with his Irish Wolfhounds.
At Rob's request there will be no visitation and services will be private.
In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Rob may be made to Nashoba Nursing Service & Hospice, 3 Patterson Road, Suite 3, Shirley, MA 01464 or a charity of your choice.
