Joseph P. "Joe"  O'Donnell
Joseph P. "Joe" O'Donnell, 55, a longtime resident of Westford passed away on Friday December 29, 2017 at the Boston Medical Center with his loving sisters at his side following a lengthy illness. He was the son of the late Shirley Riel and grandson of the late Joseph and Shirley Letasz.

Joe was born in Cambridge, MA on December 9, 1962 and was a graduate of Nashoba Valley Technical High School. He was a talented, self-employed carpenter for the past 34 years until the progression of his illness led to his retirement. He had worked on many historical buildings including the Bon Marche building in Lowell. Joe enjoyed following sports, especially the Patriots, Bruins and NASCAR . He also enjoyed fishing, playing cards and spending time at Sandy’s beach as well.

He is survived by his loving sisters, Karen Amichetti and her husband Steven of Townsend and Leslie Beauregard and her husband Wayne of Westford; stepfather, James Riel of Westford; nieces and nephew, Daniel and his wife Jodi, Kristin, Jenna and Marissa; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He is also survived by his father and stepmother, Peter and Debbie O'Donnell of Wells, Maine and his children, Joe, Sharon and Jessica.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday January 3, 2017 from 4 until 8 PM in the BLAKE CHELMSFORD FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen Street, CHELMSFORD. Funeral Thursday morning at 8:45 AM from the Funeral Home with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 AM in St. Catherine of Alexandria Parish, 107 North Main Street, WESTFORD. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, WESTFORD.
