Obituary for Charlotte M Yencho (Beam)

Charlotte M  Yencho (Beam)
Charlotte M. (Beam) Yencho, a resident of Chelmsford since 1970 and formerly of Ligonier, PA, passed away at her home on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at the age of 80. She was the beloved wife of George P. Yencho with whom she enjoyed 56 years of marriage.

She was born in Laughlintown, PA on September 19, 1937 and was a daughter of the late Charles and Nellie (Long) Beam.

Charlotte received her education in Pennsylvania and was employed as an Executive Assistant at ITT and Executive Assistant to the President at AT&T in Ligonier, PA. Upon moving to Chelmsford, she worked for Apollo Computers before retiring to raise her family. Charlotte loved to travel, especially taking trips with her grandchildren and to visit her friends around the country. Some of her favorite places were China, Germany, Italy and Ireland.

Charlotte attended the Congregational Church of North Chelmsford.

In addition to her loving husband, Charlotte is survived by her sons, David L. Yencho and his wife Kristin of Groton and Douglas P. Yencho and his wife Francine of Pepperell, and five grandchildren; Taylor Mason and her husband Joe, Chelsey Yencho and her partner Sean Tripp, Christina Yencho, Johnathon Yencho and Joseph Yencho, and a great-grandson, Carter. She also leaves her siblings; Walter Ray Beam and his wife Connie of Ligonier, PA, Melvin Beam and his wife Sue of Spokane, WA, and Mildred Shaulis of Latrobe, PA.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 5 to 8 pm at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford.

Her Funeral Service will be on Friday at 11 o'clock at the Funeral Home.

Interment will take place in Pennsylvania at a later date.
