Obituary for William Kevin O'Grady
CHELMSFORD - William Kevin O'Grady, a longtime resident of Chelmsford passed away peacefully at his home on May 17, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Joan (MacLeod) O'Grady with whom he has enjoyed 51 years of marriage.
He was born in Cambridge on May 7, 1943 and was a son of the late William K. and Helen (Rynne) O'Grady.
William earned his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Bentley University. He also served in the United States Army National Guard. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, playing golf, and watching all sports, especially hockey and baseball.
In addition to his loving wife, William is survived by his children; Derek O'Grady and his wife Sue of Northboro, Jennifer Walsh and her husband Michael of Chelmsford and Sharon O'Grady of Chelmsford, and four granddaughters; Shannon and Caitlin Walsh and Hannah and Kirsty O'Grady. He also leaves his brother; Frank O'Grady and his wife Carol of Arlington, sister Kathleen Gardner and her husband David of Pompano Beach, Florida, his sister-in-law Jane O'Grady of Arlington, and her late husband, William's brother, Joe O'Grady.
At William's request all services will be held privately.
