The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of George Naumann can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Doug Farrell

It has been quite a few years since I've seen Uncle George, which I'm sorry to admit. However, I remember him very well, particularly from when I was a kid and young man. Many family Thanksgivings come to mind, gathered around the dining room table at Nana's house, the kids at the card table while we were small enough to fit. Sharing stories of the far flung family's adventures and memories. Everyone used to remark about how tall George was, which they did to me as well as I grew. They always said how it came from Great Grandfather Gault, who apparently was even taller still. My mom, George's oldest sister Pauline, was always so proud of her brother; his industriousness, his hard work continuing his education, and just his happy, open demeanor. I was saddened to learn of Uncle George's passing, the circle of family growing smaller. I will keep his place in that circle by telling the stories that include him in the circle of my family. Love always, Doug Farrell
